Workspace separates stored files from message attachments. Uploading a document does not send it to a contact; you choose separately if and when to share it.

Upload to a separate workspace
Workspace has its own authenticated file flow and presentation, separate from ordinary chat messages. Files are not posted into a conversation unless you choose to share them.
Encryption and access
Supported files are protected in the browser before transfer. The service enforces authenticated access and the storage limits attached to the live account.
Keep or remove files intentionally
Workspace is for files you need to return to. Check current quotas before uploading and use the Workspace controls to remove files when they are no longer required.
