Share a direct invitation for a question that does not need a public comment thread. Treat the invite as an access secret: send it only through the channel you choose and replace it if it is shared too widely.
Put a Chat256 link or QR code on your website, receipt or event material. Customers can open a browser conversation without giving you a phone number or installing another app.
Use it for a one-to-one question, booking enquiry or short customer conversation. Supported messages and files are encrypted in the browser; Chat256 still processes session and routing data to deliver the service.
Create a private conversation →Share a direct invitation for a question that does not need a public comment thread. Treat the invite as an access secret: send it only through the channel you choose and replace it if it is shared too widely.
When a written exchange is not enough, use browser voice or video. Call setup needs service and network information, and quality depends on the devices, permissions and connection at both ends.
Use the protected Share flow for a file that belongs in the conversation. Use Workspace for working material that should stay separate. Check current file limits in the product before sending.
The Business plan increases the account limits shown on the plans and pricing page. Chat256 is currently designed for direct conversations; it does not provide a shared team inbox, staff accounts, assignment queues or a business administration console. The plan name does not imply those features.
Do not use Chat256 as a customer-record system or rely on it for a regulated retention workflow without checking that the product meets your requirements. Read the privacy notice and security overview before sharing customer information.
